These terms apply to lsnotebooks.com, to the free printable files you can download from it and to the files you make with Grid Builder. By downloading or printing a file you agree to them.

Who runs this website

This website is run by Kamil Kurowski, Poland, who publishes notebooks under the name Lines & Squares. Contact: contact@lsnotebooks.com.

Free printables: what you may do

This section and the next apply to the ready-made printables on the Free Printables pages. Files you make yourself with Grid Builder have their own, wider rules: see Grid Builder: files you make yourself.

• download the files free of charge and print as many copies as you need,
• use the printed pages for your own personal use, for studying, and in your classroom, tutoring sessions or homeschool,
• hand out printed copies to your students or family free of charge,
• share a link to the page on this website where the file can be downloaded.

Free printables: what you may not do

• sell the files or printed copies, or include them in anything you sell, including notebooks, planners, low-content books (for example on Amazon KDP), digital downloads, bundles and print-on-demand products,
• upload or re-host the files on other websites, file-sharing services, marketplaces or social media; please share a link instead,
• remove or alter the Lines & Squares name and website address printed on the pages,
• claim the designs as your own.

Grid Builder: files you make yourself

The rules above apply to the ready-made printables on the Free Printables pages. Files you create with Grid Builder are different: you may use them for any purpose, including commercial ones.

You may:

• use the PDF and SVG files you generate for personal, classroom and commercial projects,
• sell printed copies, and publish notebooks, journals, planners and other low-content books that use them, for example on Amazon KDP or other print-on-demand services,
• edit the files, combine them with your own designs and remove the Lines & Squares footer,
• do all of this without crediting Lines & Squares (a link is always appreciated, but not required).

You may not:

• copy, resell or redistribute Grid Builder itself, its code or its interface, or present it as your own tool,
• offer the generator’s output as a competing “grid generator” or bulk template service built on this website.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for making sure that your book or product meets the rules of the platform where you publish it, including Amazon KDP’s content, quality and low-content guidelines. Grid Builder is provided free of charge and “as is”: I check the files against KDP’s published requirements, but I cannot guarantee that any platform will accept a file or a book.

Copyright

The page designs, the Lines & Squares name and logo, and the photos and texts on this website are protected by copyright. Downloading a file gives you the right to use it as described above. It does not transfer any ownership or copyright.

Fonts and third-party licences

This website and Grid Builder are my own work. Grid Builder is written from scratch and uses no third-party code libraries: the grids, PDF and SVG files are drawn by its own code in your browser.

The website uses the Poppins typeface, Copyright 2020 The Poppins Project Authors (github.com/itfoundry/Poppins), licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. The font files are served from this website, and the licence text is available here: Poppins licence (OFL.txt).

Page numbers and other short text in Grid Builder’s KDP files are drawn as vector shapes based on Poppins Regular, so no fonts are embedded in the PDF. The Open Font License allows this, and it does not restrict the documents you make: the files you create with Grid Builder remain yours to use as described in Grid Builder: files you make yourself.

No warranty

The printables are provided free of charge and “as is”. I do my best to keep them accurate, but grid sizes can change slightly depending on your printer and print settings. To keep the original scale, choose “Actual size” or “100%” when printing.

Some printables, such as the hiragana and katakana practice sheets, include learning content: character charts, rōmaji and writing tips. This content was prepared with the help of AI and checked carefully, but it may still contain mistakes and is not a substitute for a teacher or a textbook. If you spot an error, please write to contact@lsnotebooks.com and I will correct it.

The notebooks shown on this website are sold, printed and shipped by Amazon. Prices, availability, delivery and returns are handled by Amazon under Amazon’s own terms. Product photos and descriptions are for illustration.

Downloading a printable does not require an account or an email address. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Changes and applicable law

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. They are governed by Polish law. This does not take away any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
