Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit lsnotebooks.com and what rights you have. The short version: this website has no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no cookies and no advertising trackers. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly statistics tool that does not use cookies or identify you. Free printables can be downloaded without signing up.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is Kamil Kurowski, Poland, who publishes notebooks under the name Lines & Squares. You can contact me at contact@lsnotebooks.com.
What data is processed
When you open this website, your browser sends technical information to the server that delivers it: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and operating system type. This happens on every website and is needed to deliver the pages to you and to protect the site against abuse and attacks.
Downloading a free printable PDF is an ordinary request for a file: the same technical data is processed, and you are not asked for your name, email address or any other details.
This website does not collect your name, email address or any other information that identifies you directly, and it does not build visitor profiles.
Hosting provider
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes the technical data described above on my behalf as a data processor. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Server logs are kept only for a limited period. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To see how many people visit the website, which pages they open and how fast the pages load, this website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com) reads anonymous information about that page view, such as the page address, the referring website, your country, your browser and device type, and page loading times, and sends it to Cloudflare.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not use your browser’s local storage, does not use fingerprinting to recognise you, and does not track you across websites. Cloudflare does not use this data for advertising. I only see summary statistics, such as the number of page views per day; I cannot see who you are or follow an individual visitor. More information: cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
If you use a content blocker that blocks this script, the website works exactly the same.
Grid Builder
Grid Builder works entirely in your browser. The grids, PDF and SVG files are created on your device and are not uploaded to this website or anywhere else. Your settings are kept only in the page address (the link in your browser’s address bar), so you can bookmark or share a grid; nothing is saved on the server.
Legal basis
Technical data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): delivering the website securely and keeping it working. Visitor statistics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest as well: understanding, in an anonymous and aggregated way, how the website is used so that it can be improved.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or social media tracking tools. The only analytics tool is the cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics described above. The only thing this website may store on your device is your choice of Amazon store, as described below. Fonts and images are served from this website's own server, so opening a page does not send your data to third-party services such as Google Fonts.
Choosing your Amazon store
To send you to the Amazon store for your country (for example Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de), the page checks your browser’s time zone and language settings. This happens only inside your browser; the result is not sent to this website or to anyone else.
If you pick a store yourself from the “Amazon store” list, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device, so you don’t have to choose again. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to this website, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Links to Amazon
The "View on Amazon" buttons take you to Amazon, where the notebooks are sold, printed and shipped. Once you follow a link, Amazon's own privacy notice applies. Some links may contain an Amazon Associates or Amazon Attribution identifier, which lets Amazon tell that you came from this website. Any cookies involved are set by Amazon on Amazon's website, not by this website.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased or its processing restricted,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
Because this website does not know who you are, I may need you to provide details, such as the approximate time of your visit, to locate any data relating to you. To exercise your rights, write to contact@lsnotebooks.com.
Changes to this policy
If the way this website handles data changes, for example if a newsletter is added, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
